Year 5 have made a good start to the school year. During their English lesson they have been reading the book Cogheart, they used their debating skills to support their writing of a persuasive letter to the Prime Minister.
To support the history topic of the Industrial Revolution, Year 5 spent a day at the Dudson Museum, where they met Mrs Pot’s who explain what it was like to live in the 1800’s. They explored pottery and how important canals were to the industries and ended the day designing a poster to showcase their knowledge.
