At Forest Park Primary School, we care passionately about our children’s personal development, and we ensure we cover elements of Personal Development within lessons but also as a whole-school ethos. We want every child to leave school feeling confident, unique and proud and feel prepared to tackle any challenges they may face.

Our aim is to teach children how to navigate through life safely, happily and healthily. Children are growing up in a world that is constantly changing, and we want our network of supportive adults to help children to develop strong values and behaviours alongside a rich curriculum of music, sport, and arts education to develop their social capital to live in an emotionally healthy way. This is enabled through the provision of a wide variety of life-changing experiences which develop the children’s cultural capital and help them to find the things that they love.
