This term year 3 have enjoyed going swimming. The children begun learning about the Stone Age in history and built a timeline for the classrooms! PCSO Chris Hill also visited and talked about keeping children safe in the community and who to go to if they were lost. The classes were also able to sit in a police car and turn the siren on! In music the classes have really progressed with playing the ocarinas and have learnt songs including London’s Burning and Twinkle Twinkle. In PE the classes improvised and choreographed their own parts to a dance to different musical genres. In DT, the children also tasted ingredients to enable them to design and make a healthy wrap.
This leaflet shows the overview of what your child is expected to learn by the end of their current year group. These are the minimum requirements to ensure continued progress through the following years.
