Spring 2 Term
The children have enjoyed taking part in Forest School activities with Mrs Martin. They wanted to try lying in the new hammock!
We have practised counting backwards from 5 while playing with the parachute. The children enjoyed launching the balls into the air and hiding under the parachute.
In Nursery we have explored many sensory activities. We have been scooping and mark making. The children found hidden numbers and sorted them into groups.
As part of science week the children made slime with the teachers. They enjoyed stretching the slime to see whose was the longest.
While playing outside the children noticed some green leaves on the floor. They enjoyed leaf rubbing and noticed the textures on the back of the leaves.
This leaflet shows the overview of what your child is expected to learn by the end of their current year group. These are the minimum requirements to ensure continued progress through the following years.
