School reopening for September 2020

14th September 2020

Dear Parents / Carers,

Thank you for your patience over the last two weeks. The children have settled into their classes brilliantly and they look amazingly smart in their uniforms. It is so lovely to have a full school again so thank you for all your support.

We still really need your continued help and support by sticking to the times given, following the instructions and by avoiding close contact with other parents whilst on the way to school, in the playground, and on your way home.

Just as a reminder, please see below for the new start and end times of your child/children. At the end of the day parents are asked to please arrive on time and wait behind the designated cone.

Can parents please ensure that all children have a freshly filled plastic water bottle in school each day

Children’s attendance will continue to be monitored in the same way that it was pre-lockdown. If your child is ill, you should report it in the same way as you have always done via the school office. If a child or a member of your family falls ill and they are have COVID 19 symptoms you must inform the school immediately. If a child is displaying symptoms, they must not come into school and a test must be booked. Parents should inform the school immediately and make contact again with the results of the test. Please can we ask that all parents ensure that their contact information held by school is accurate and up-to-date.

I know that for many of our families, this remains an anxious time. I would like to thank you once again for your cooperation and support in sending your children back to school. No doubt, there will be different and challenging situations at times. We just need to all remember to communicate with each other, discuss the challenges as they arise, and work together towards a solution.

Throughout the pandemic, communication lines have been open and will continue to be. If you have a concern please speak to a member of the Leadership team on the playground or class teachers can also be contacted via email. Please clearly state the full name of your child in any emails sent.

The year group emails are:

All we ask is for your patience as we settle into this new normal and for your support. You have done an amazing job throughout the lockdown. Thank you for your on-going support.

Best wishes,
