In Design and Technology, the children have thoroughly enjoyed exploring and using pulleys to make toy cars with motors for the Reception children. All of the children have shown great enthusiasm whilst studying Macbeth. They have used role play to deepen our understanding of the characters. As a result, the children have produced diary entries that have blown us away! Well done year 5! They took part in the Recorder Festival at Victoria Hall with several schools across the city and year 4 in the audience! It was wonderful to see the children being able to show off their hard work over several weeks to a live audience. They went on a trip to Jodrell Bank where we deepened our knowledge of space. The highlight for everyone was exploring the depths of space in the immersive planetarium experience.
